A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS VOLUME 7

The torch has been passed to a new generation of superstar talent for A Very Special Christmas Volume 7, as some of the top young artists of today contribute their time and talent to support Special Olympics.

The album features original recordings of new and traditional Christmas songs by Colbie Caillat, Carter Twins, Charice, Miley Cyrus, Kristinia DeBarge, Gloriana, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean Kingston, Leighton Meester, Mitchel Musso, Kellie Pickler, Ashley Tisdale, and Carrie Underwood.

A Very Special Christmas Volume 7, set for release on November 23 through the Universal Music Enterprises, and is available online and in stores at iTunes, Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and many more retailers.

All of the proceeds of the album sales, and the sales of the other albums in the AVSC series, go directly to Special Olympics programs around the world through the Christmas Record Trust Grant Program.

A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS - CHRISTMAS RECORD TRUST GRANT PROGRAM

  • Since 1987, the A Very Special Christmas album series has literally changed lives through generating over $100 million in direct support for Special Olympics programs, thanks to the generosity of more than 100 top internationally acclaimed recording artists.

  • Born from the inspiration of model and writer Vicki Iovine and from the ingenuity of recording industry producers Jimmy Iovine, Bobby Shriver, Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss, the AVSC series has enabled Special Olympics to flourish in hard-to-reach urban centers of the United States and the world.

  • Artists donate their time and talent.  Producers and labels waive their fees.  100% of the proceeds of sales of AVSC albums comes directly back to Special Olympics, and is disbursed to programs in need through the Christmas Record Trust Grant Program.

  • Today, grants have enabled Special Olympics to implement programs in such countries as Russia, China and Uganda, and as seed funding to build new Programs in places like Timor Leste, Cambodia, Laos and Lesotho and urban areas such as New York City and Philadelphia.

  • By purchasing AVSC albums, you can help by making possible another kind of music:  the rousing cheers of proud parents and friends, where once there was only the stifling silence of ignorance and fear.   Thank you for being a fan!
